Club Jacques Letarouilly at the FabLab for a customization workshop
On Thursday July 25, the Franciscaines FabLab welcomed for the first time members of the Club Jacques Letarouilly, a club offering activities for the community's senior citizens, in collaboration with the Centre Communal d'Action Social (CCAS) and the Conseil numérique du Département.
Around ten senior members of the Deauville club took part in a mug personalization workshop, using images to decorate their mugs.
Beyond the creative aspect, this workshop was also an opportunity for the seniors to familiarize themselves with specific new tools and to discover the FabLaba third-party environment open tolearning, creating and sharing, and which ties in with the club's interests, particularly in its efforts to combat the isolation of the elderly.
