On June 6, 1944, 34,250 American soldiers landed on Omaha beach. Among them was war photographer Robert Capa, to whom Les Franciscaines is dedicating an original exhibition designed with Magnum.
On May 25, the day the great photographer Robert Capa passed away, discover the exhibition dedicated to him at Les Franciscaines: Robert Capa, Icons.
Both striking and memorable, this exhibition will move us with its legendary snapshots of the icon of photojournalism, taken on the spot, featuring heroic young men engaged in a decisive moment.
