The manuscript of "Aux Champs Elysées" on display at the Cité Internationale de la langue Française

Under the title "C'est une chanson qui nous ressemble", the new 400 m2 exhibition at the Cité Internationale de la Langue Française in Villers-Cotterêts salutes and comments on French-language songs broadcast and sung around the world.

It features songs by Piaf, Charles Trenet, Aznavour, Françoise Hardy... and Joe Dassin, whose manuscript of "Aux Champs Elysées", a song written by Pierre Delanoë, is reproduced from one of the 134 songbooks bequeathed to the Franciscaines by the famous songwriter's children.

The exhibition, inaugurated on June 17, was conceived by Bertrand Dicale, the exhibition's curator. It runs until January 5, 2025.
