On the Road to Paradise

An immersive exhibition where the visitor will be led to live an experience - notably through the installations of some contemporary artists -, "On the Paths to Paradise" is an invitation to reflect but also to let oneself be captivated by the power of the works. Exceptional loans from the Louvre Museum, the Museum of Jewish Art and History, the BnF and the Aga Khan Museum, bringing together miniatures, manuscripts, paintings, ceramics, ritual objects, carpets, graphic arts, photographs and videos, trace the metamorphosis of the idea of "paradise" in the three religions of the book - Judaism, Christianity and Islam - from the third millennium BC to the present day.
