Maissiat & Véronique Mortaigne
Brigitte Bardot has appeared in 48 films and recorded 70 songs. Véronique Mortaigne, journalist and biographer, explores and comments on her career as a singer, its major stages and makes us familiar with those who, with Gainsbourg, signed her greatest hits. Maissiat, a singer, takes up and reinterprets masterfully, the unforgettable songs of Bardot.
In 1961, in the film Vie Privée by Louis Malle, Brigitte Bardot sang Sidonie and then recorded it on her very first album. Two years later, in 1963, after singing La Madrague(Sur la plage abandonnée...), she recorded La machine à sous, the first song written for her by Serge Gainsbourg.
In August 1967, temporarily abandoning Saint-Tropez, Brigitte Bardot adopts Deauville with the plan to build a house. A few weeks later, she met up with Serge Gainsbourg with whom she prepared the Bardot show, a television order for the end of the year 1967.
