He is a trumpeter, composer, producer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist based in New York.
In Leonhart's work, one can hear the fluidity of the multiple genres in which he has deeply immersed himself over the years. Whether he is composing for his orchestra or for film, his sound is inimitable.
At 17, Michael had the honor of being the youngest Grammy winner in history, cited as the most outstanding musician in American high school. Since then, he has collaborated with artists as diverse as Questlove, Wu-tang Clan, Meryl Streep, David Byrne and Steely Dan.
