Anaïs Ondet wins the Public Prize for Young Photographic Creation
The Planches Contact Festival's Prix du Public de la Jeune Création Photographique 2025 was awarded to Anaïs Ondet for her project Les Filles d'ici - Celles qui n'ont pas peur du calme. Voted for by visitors, this prize celebrates a sensitive photographic approach, rooted in reality and profoundly human.
Through this work, Anaïs Ondet explores the daily lives of young girls living in "in-between" territories, on the border between urban and rural worlds. Her patient, respectful documentary approach reveals identities, aspirations and ties to the land that are often invisible. It's a singular vision that made a deep impression on audiences this year.
This distinction complements the Prix du Jury, awarded to Naïma Lecomte, highlighting the richness and diversity of young contemporary photography.
Developed as part of her residency at the festival, Les Filles d'ici is a lucid and sincere account of territories steeped in memory, far removed from clichés and fantasized representations.
