Deauville sur pointes: the big weekend
For three days, starting this Thursday, July 25, at the C.I.D, Les Franciscaines, Les Planches and the Villa Strassburger, Deauville welcomes stars and soloists from the best ballet companies in the repertory, from Europe and North America.
In 2025, Deauville will be dancing again, with a new and memorable choreographic sequence, just as it did in the past with Diaghilev's Ballets Russes, La Loïe Fuller, Les Ballets de Roland Petit and then L'International Ballet du Marquis de Cuévas...
The time for a competition for young soloists, interspersed with classes and rehearsals open to the public, the time for a unique and exceptional Gala at the C.I.D. on Saturday evening (bringing together for the first time, star dancers, virtuosos, with dazzling technique), just before a big dance class on the boards, led by some of these dancers, on Sunday morning at 11am, as well as meetings and conferences...
This major weekend in Deauville has been imagined and organized by Veronika Bogatyreva, who brought star dancers and top soloists from the Bolshoi and Marinsky theaters to Deauville's Casino Theater in 2018 and 2019.
