Exceptional deposit at the Franciscaines: 2 works by Van Dongen

Two symbolic paintings from the exhibition " Deauville fits me like a glove ", presented last summer, are joining the Franciscan collection on deposit: Naked Self-Portrait, painted in 1935 and Portrait of Jean-Mariepainted around 1944-1945.

Jean-Marie Van Dongen and Les Franciscaines have established a relationship of trust that has given rise to a common desire to present the work of this artist, who has maintained a complicity with Deauville for over 60 years, on a permanent basis at Les Franciscaines.
