The FabLab welcomes the Wi-Filles 2025 class for a series of enriching activities

On Thursday April 17, the FabLab des Franciscaines welcomed, for the second year running, the new class of Le Havre Wi-Filles 2025, supervised by theFACE Normandie association.
With the aim of introducing young girls to careers in the digital, industrial and technical sectors and thus opening up their future prospects as much as possible, the FabLab is reiterating its commitment. Launched nationwide in 2018, Wi-Filles is a program designed to raise awareness and acculturate volunteer girls aged 14 to 17 to these fields overwhelmingly favored by boys.
On the program for the day: creative tote bag flocking workshops using FabLab machines, and a visit to the exhibition Julie Manet & ses cousines, la liberté de créer au féminin. A meaningful exhibition to show the very special lives of three young women of the XIXᵉ century, having made their place for themselves in a very masculine society.
