Four days of festivities to mark Franciscan anniversary
From May 14 to 17, 2026, get ready for an Ascension weekend full of events and emotions! Four festive days to celebrate the Franciscan anniversary. A first highlight that heralds a series of events to punctuate the summer season.
Thursday May 14, to launch the 5th anniversary festivities, meet the artists who have written the Franciscan story. Ambra Senatore, Clément Hervieu-Léger, Amandine Maissiat and Camille Bertault will treat you to a unique artistic afternoon.
Friday May 15, meeting with artist Clara Rivault to celebrate the creation ofa monumental contemporary stained glass window, specially designed for the site. This is Les Franciscaines' first permanent artistic commission.
On Saturday May 16, dance invites itself to Les Franciscaines until 11 p.m., with the XY collectiveone of the most innovative companies in contemporary circus. A day to remember, echoing the European Museum Night.
Sunday May 17, with Candlelightenjoy a spellbinding evening of music in a unique setting: a chapel lit by a thousand candles, resounding with the sounds of the greatest classical and contemporary masterpieces.
