Just published: Villa Strassburger

Built in 1907, the Villa Strassburger is considered by the Bâtiments de France to be " the most characteristic of Deauville's belle époque villas ".
It was listed as a historic monument in 1975, before becoming the property of the town of Deauville in December 1980.
Its history, made up of a thousand stories, is a novel, written by its successive owners, its illustrious visitors, its war years and all the events that took place there... For the first time, the legend of this exceptional villa is told in an illustrated book just published by Editions des Falaises.
In addition to commentary by Philippe Normand, who often acted as a guide for television reports, the villa's common and secret areas are revealed through original photos by Carole Bellaïche.
