Sustainable development at the heart of the Laboratoire de Fabrication Solidaire
As part of the Laboratoire de Fabrication Solidaire 2025 program, the FabLab des Franciscaines organized its first day of work on ecology and recycling on Thursday March 20.
A time of discovery for twenty people, accompanied by local structures and partners in the field of integration: the Deauville CCAS, the Honfleur CLIC, the Mission Locale de la Baie de Seine, the Maison Départementale des Solidarités in Honfleur, theINFREP in Touques and the Calvados department's digital advisors.
In the morning, participants explored the Sebastião Salgado exhibition exhibition during a guided tour with the Franciscaines' Mediation team. Then, in the afternoon, the beneficiaries took part in a plastic recycling workshop with the environmental association PlastNat.
This workshop enabled them to understand the impact of massive plastic consumption and to learn about possible alternatives. A small object made from recycled plastic was then created using a shredder bike and an injection molding machine. A small step towards more sustainable practices!
