Winners of the La 25ᵉ Heure Longines 2025 photo competition
This Sunday, at noon, in the sumptuous Chapelle des Franciscaines, the Planches Contact Festival jury unveiled the long-awaited results of the La 25 Photo Competition.ᵉ Heure Longines Photo Competition. In front of a packed room, photography enthusiasts, curious onlookers and participants gathered to discover the winners of this exceptional edition, marked by record participation.
On the night of Saturday, October 25, at midnight, 226 participants - an unprecedented number - gathered on the parvis des Franciscaines to kick off the competition. From 6 to 77 years old, with family, friends or on their own, photographers scoured the streets of Deauville in search of the perfect frame to immortalize this "25ᵉ hour". This enthusiasm testifies to the growing success of the event, which over the years has become a highlight of Deauville's cultural life.
After the digital files had been submitted overnight, Initial Labo printed all the photographs and put them on display in Le Cloître des Franciscaines on Sunday morning. Each participant was able to discover his or her œuvre hung alongside those of the other competitors - a wonderful celebration of collective creativity and shared imagination.
The photographs were then carefully examined by a jury of experts, chaired by Rima Abdul-Malak, former Minister of Culture.
